SEATTLE, WA...April 28, 2009...BEC Recordings' newest shining star continues to break ground as a solo artist with the release of his debut on April 7th. Phillip LaRue released "Let the Road Pave Itself" to much media acclaim including the honored title of Gospel Music Channel's latest "Listen Up" artist (April /May). This budding artist continues to gain new listeners this week as his music is appearing on multiple formats from a digital download to online video premieres to another TV placement.

Beginning today, Phillip's current single "Chasing the Daylight" is this week's iTunes "Discovery Download" (click here). This music video for the track is also premiering all week on Amazon.com and mtvU.com.

In a recent Billboard "New & Noteworthy" review this song was described as a "vibrant opener" to the disc. Other tracks included in the glowing April 25th Billboard review were:

"Don't Be Deceived" - feels like watching a soul laid bare
"Running So Long" - brilliant, confessional
"Mountains High Valleys Low" - hopeful honesty

Following two other TV placements (CBS's "Ghost Whisperer'" CW's "One Tree Hill"), the song "Erase and Rewind" will be heard on the new CBS mini-series "Harper's Island" on Thursday, April 30th at 10 / 9 pm EST (Episode 4). For more information on Phillip LaRue and this debut click here.
